Azerbaijan appoints first deputy minister of ecology and natural resources

Azerbaijan has appointed a first deputy minister of ecology and natural resources, according to a presidential order published on Thursday.

The appointment follows recent кадровые changes at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources after Rashad Ismayilov was named minister earlier this year.

Ismayilov had previously served as first deputy minister since August 2024 before being promoted to minister in February 2026 by President Ilham Aliyev.
