Prosecutor seeks prison terms of 13 to 16 years for defendants in Toplum TV case

During a hearing at the Baku Court for Grave Crimes, the state prosecutor requested various prison sentences for the defendants in the Toplum TV case.

The prosecutor asked the court to sentence Akif Gurbanov and Ruslan Izzatli to 16 years in prison each, Alasgar Mammadli and Ali Zeynal to 15 years each, Ramil Babayev, Ilkin Amrahov and Mushfig Jabbar to 14 years each, and Farid Ismayilov and Elmir Abbasov to 13 years each.

The prosecutor also requested that Elmir Abbasov, who is currently under a police supervision measure, be taken into custody in the courtroom.
