BakıKart transport cards to cost 3 manats from July 1
09.06.2026 16:30

The price of BakıKart public transport cards in Azerbaijan will increase to 3 manats from 2 manats starting July 1, the company said.

The company said the price increase is due to higher production, maintenance, logistics and infrastructure costs. BakıKart cards have been in use since 2015, and their price has remained unchanged during that period.

The change will apply only to the purchase of new cards. Existing card balances and public transport fares will remain unchanged.

Passengers can also pay for travel using bank cards, NFC-enabled mobile devices and QR codes.
