Heavy rain, hail and flood risk forecast in parts of Azerbaijan

Unstable weather conditions are expected to persist in parts of Azerbaijan over the next five days, with heavy rain, thunderstorms and hail forecast in some areas.

According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, intense precipitation is expected mainly in mountainous and foothill regions, with the possibility of hail and thunderstorms.

Meteorologists also warned that rising river levels could trigger short-term floods and flash floods in some mountain rivers.

Authorities have advised residents and travelers, particularly in flood-prone and mountainous areas, to exercise caution during the period of unstable weather.
