Over 4,400 Baku graduates awarded honor diplomas
More than 4,400 students in the Azerbaijani capital completed their studies with honors during the latest academic year, the Baku City Education Department reported.
Specifically, 1,961 upper-secondary (Grade 11) graduates and 2,529 general-secondary (Grade 9) graduates met the requirements for an honor diploma. To qualify, students must maintain top final grades ("5") across all subjects throughout their studies and score at least 75 points on each subject in the national graduation examinations.
Starting from the 2025–2026 academic year, official educational credentials in Azerbaijan are issued digitally. Class of 2026 graduates can access and retrieve their electronic certificates via the national myGov platform.
