Baku to see up to 32C, thunder showers in mountainous areas on Wednesday

Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will experience partly cloudy and predominantly dry weather on Wednesday, August 26, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service reported. The northern wind will strengthen occasionally across the peninsula.

Air temperatures will range between 22–26°C at night and 29–32°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will hold at 760 mm Hg, with relative humidity at 70–80% overnight and 50–60% during daylight hours. 

Across Azerbaijan's regions, conditions will remain largely dry, though daytime convective thunderstorms and localized brief downpours are forecast in select mountainous and foothill zones. Night and morning fog will develop in higher elevations. Temperatures will hover between 21–26°C at night and 32–37°C during the day, while mountainous areas will record 15–20°C overnight and 22–27°C in the afternoon.
