Lufthansa Frankfurt–Delhi flight makes emergency landing in Baku

A Lufthansa Boeing 787 operating a scheduled passenger flight from Frankfurt to Delhi made an emergency diversion landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport due to an onboard technical fault, the airport's press service announced.

The flight captain requested permission for an unscheduled landing on the evening of August 25. The aircraft touched down safely in Baku at 23:26 local time.

Airport officials confirmed that all relevant emergency and ground support units took required precautions to ensure the full safety of passengers and crew members.
