The International Carpet Festival has launched with the partnership of ABB Bank!

The International Carpet Festival has started in Baku, in the territory of Icherisheher. The main goal of the festival is to introduce the ancient art of Azerbaijani carpet weaving to the world, showcase its rich heritage and future development prospects, and also learn from the experiences and skills of carpet weavers from different countries.

ABB Bank, which consistently supports the preservation and development of our national and spiritual values, is the exclusive partner of the International Carpet Festival. The festival is organized by the OJSC "Azərxalça" and the Management of the State Historical and Architectural Reserve "Icherisheher," with the support of the Ministry of Economy and the Export and Investment Promotion Agency – AZPROMO.

In addition to Azerbaijan, carpet weavers, manufacturers, artists, and specialists from a number of countries are participating in the festival. During the festival, guests from Morocco, Nepal, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries will share their experiences and exchange views on the global market entry of carpet art, as well as the integration of crafts into the global economic system.

Such events contribute significantly to the development of our country's carpet industry according to modern requirements, the expansion of international cooperation and markets, and the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in this field.

The festival program, which will run until May 3, will be rich and diverse. During the festival, exclusive exhibitions dedicated to the art of carpet weaving, master classes, concert programs, and special educational activities for children will be organized.
