Another 78 mines and 416 unexploded ordnance discovered in Azerbaijan's liberated territories

Weekly (18.05.2026-24.05.2026) information on operations carried out by organizations involved in mine clearance activities in the liberated territories has been announced, ANAMA told APA.

45 anti-personnel mines, 33 anti-tank mines, and 416 Unexploded Ordnance were discovered in Tartar, Aghdam, Aghdara, Lachin, Fuzuli, Shusha, Khojaly, Khankendi, Kalbajar, Khojavend, Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan, as well as in the liberated villages of Baganis Ayrim, Ashagi Eskipara, Xeyrimli, and Gizilhajili in the Gazakh region.

It was reported that 2 092 hectares of land were cleared of mines and Unexploded Ordnance.
