AzerGold starts selling silver bars on local market

Azerbaijan’s AzerGold has started selling silver bars made from local raw materials for the first time.

The 999.9 fine silver bars are initially being offered in three weight categories: 250 grams, 500 grams and 1,000 grams.

The company said the launch was aimed at meeting domestic demand with locally produced products, expanding investment opportunities and developing the value chain.

AzerGold will also buy back the silver bars in the national currency. The repurchase price will be calculated based on the Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s official daily exchange rate and the metal value of the bar, with a 10% premium added.

The bars are available at AzerGold’s Sales and Exchange Centre at 3 Bulbul Avenue in Baku, as well as through the www.azergold.gift online platform.
