Dry weather forecast for Baku on July 17, showers expected in mountain areas

No rain is expected in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula on July 17, Azerbaijan’s National Hydrometeorological Service said. 

A moderate northwesterly wind is forecast, with temperatures ranging from 22-25 degrees Celsius overnight to 30-35 degrees during the day. 

Elsewhere in Azerbaijan, mainly dry weather is expected, although showers are forecast from the afternoon in some mountainous and foothill areas. Heavy downpours, thunderstorms and hail are possible in isolated locations, while fog may form overnight and in the morning in some mountain districts. Daytime temperatures across the regions are forecast at 34-38 degrees Celsius, while mountainous areas will see highs of 22-27 degrees.
