Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan's Debut 15M Manat Bond Placement Oversubscribed Fourfold
Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan OJSC has successfully completed the issuance of its debut 15 million manat corporate bonds on the Baku Stock Exchange.
Speaking at the "Opening Bell" ceremony, bank management announced that total investor demand exceeded the offering volume by more than four times, with 144 investors participating in the placement.
Established in Azerbaijan in 2014 as a subsidiary of Türkiye's historic Ziraat Bank, the bank marked this debut placement as a strategic step toward expanding its capital market operations.
Management highlighted that strong investor confidence provides a solid foundation for regular bond issuances in the near future. It was also noted that dynamic capital markets play an essential role in driving national economic growth, channelling diversified funding into investments, and broadening financial inclusion for retail investors.
Appreciation was expressed to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, PASHA Capital, the Baku Stock Exchange, and the National Depository Center for their institutional partnership and advisory support throughout the issuance.
