Azerbaijan's Agricultural and Agro-Industrial Exports Grow 22.8% to $896 Million
Azerbaijan's exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products rose 22.8% year-on-year to reach $896.4 million in January–July 2026, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) reported.
During the seven-month period, agricultural exports expanded by 22.1% to $673.4 million, while agro-industrial exports grew 24.8% to $223.1 million. Excluding non-monetary gold, the top non-oil export commodities were gold ($239.4 million), fresh tomatoes ($172 million), and copper ores and concentrates ($152 million). In July alone, peaches and nectarines led non-oil exports at $46.8 million.
Russia remained the primary destination for non-oil exports during the period ($731.7 million), followed by Turkey ($390.6 million), Georgia ($328.1 million), Switzerland ($251.6 million), and Ukraine ($85 million). Russia also ranked first in July with $135.5 million in shipments, ahead of Georgia, Turkey, Switzerland, and Spain.
