Kapital Bank finances an energy efficiency project: solar panels are being installed
19.10.2026 16:24

As part of its cooperation with the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA), Kapital Bank has financed the first project using funds from the Energy efficiency fund. The project involves the installation of solar panels and is expected to save approximately 50 000 cubic meters of natural gas annually and prevent 100 tons of carbon emissions.

The project involves the installation of solar panels by active consumers to promote the use of renewable energy sources. The expected outcomes will contribute to more efficient use of energy resources and reduced environmental impact.

The financing of the first project marks the transition to the practical implementation of the cooperation agreement signed between Kapital Bank and AERA. The agreement provides for concessional loans funded by the Energy efficiency fund to support energy efficiency measures. The first project financed through the Fund is also an important step towards expanding cooperation in this area.

Kapital Bank continues to advance its green financing activities. In addition to financing green projects for entrepreneurs, the bank supports initiatives such as solar panel installations and electric vehicle charging stations.

Kapital Bank, the country's first bank, is part of PASHA Holding. Kapital Bank has the largest service network in Azerbaijan with 118 branches, 50 divisions and 15 Digital Centers all over the country. For more detailed information about the bank’s products and services, please refer to //kapitalbank.az website, 196 Call Centre or the bank’s various social network pages. Applications for a cash loan and a Birbank card can be submitted online.
