Azerbaijani citizens to travel to the Maldives visa-free

Azerbaijani and Maldivian citizens holding ordinary passports have been mutually exempted from visa requirements under a law signed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The law approves an agreement between the governments of Azerbaijan and the Maldives on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports, which was signed in New York on September 24, 2025.
