Aliyev shares footage from Martyrs’ Alley on Azerbaijan’s day of mourning

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev shared video footage from his visit to Martyrs’ Alley in Baku as the country marked the 36th anniversary of the Jan. 20, 1990 tragedy.

Azerbaijan is observing a nationwide day of mourning, with commemorative ceremonies held across the country to honor those killed during the events known as Black January.
