Costa says Aliyev’s participation in EPC summit reflects new atmosphere between Baku and Yerevan

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s participation in the European Political Community summit reflects a new atmosphere in relations between Baku and Yerevan, European Council President Antonio Costa said.

Speaking after the Armenia-EU summit in Yerevan alongside Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Costa said the European Union would continue to support peace and normalization processes in the South Caucasus.

He said the EU would work with countries in the region to build a sustainable future.
