The crack troops will provide security at hotels and training sessions at the tournament in France, according to insiders.

Commandos will also protect Wales and Northern Ireland players amid fears of terror attacks, sources added.

ISIS sickos murdered 130 people across Paris last month – with three bombers striking near France's national stadium.

The Three Lions – managed by Roy Hodgson – will play Russia in their opening Group B game next June.

But security will be on high alert in Marseille – because both countries are involved in bombing campaigns against ISIS.

Only fans with tickets will be allowed through an exclusion zone around the 67,000-capacity Stade Velodrome.

French politicans last week called on European Union nations to help thwart terror plots by jihadists.

EU bureaucrat Federica Mogherini said: "France has requested aid and assistance in accordance with article 42-7.

"It has never been used before in the history of our union."

England's stars are expected to stay at Auberge du Jeu de Paume – a luxury hotel in Chantilly, near Paris.

And Les Fontaine in nearby Gouvieux will be home to Wales' squad – including Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale.

But Northern Ireland's venue has not yet been revealed, according to the Mirror.
