Will Manchester City trounce Tottenham AGAIN?

So that’s the international football done and dusted for another month and we are a little bit clearer now on which countries will be playing at Euro 2016 in France.

But it’s back to the club scene this weekend and the Premier League returns with a bang on Saturday afternoon as Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham travel to the Etihad Stadium to face a Manchester City side that trounced them 11-1 on aggregate last season. Here’s a look ahead to the best of this weekend's action in England and beyond.Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur, Barclays Premier League, Saturday 12.45pm, Live on BT Sport 1No messing around from the Premier League fixture schedulers on Saturday - a clash of the heavyweights first up to remind us that club football is better than international. The last six meetings between Manchester City and Tottenham have served up a remarkable 30 goals. Yes, so admittedly City have scored 22 of them, but at least we won’t be bored.Spurs fans will not relish this one after last season’s carnage. In November, City hit them for six at the Etihad with Sergio Aguero, who has five in five against them, scoring a double. And then in February, the Argentine’s 15th-minute strike set them on their way to a 5-1 romp at White Hart Lane.Things shouldn’t be as messy this time around, though the champions, playing far from their best football at times, are right up there again in second place. This lunchtime kick-off will give them the opportunity to reel in Chelsea’s five-point advantage - at least temporarily. One man who probably won’t feature is Yaya Toure, since the midfielder is not due back in training until Friday after the Ivory Coast lost 4-3 to DR Congo in a midweek Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. While Toure, who hasn’t looked himself this season, gets a breather ahead of next week’s Champions League trip to Moscow, Frank Lampard, who is in fine form, is ready to deputise.International breaks must feel odd for the England stalwart following retirement but he’ll be gunning for Spurs, a team against whom he scored eight times for Chelsea.Tottenham, who are three points behind City in sixth place, have won just three of their last 11 on the road and could be without key performer Nacer Chadli for the trip to Manchester. The Belgian returned early from international duty and missed their 1-1 draw with Bosnia on Monday night with a hip problem. Mauricio Pochettino also hopes that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, who sat out both of France’s friendly matches over the international break with a thigh problem, makes it.(dailymail.co.uk)Bakudaily.Az
