Man United reveal condition on which they would sell Ronaldo

Man United reveal condition on which they would sell Ronaldo
05.07.2022 10:30
Man United are open to selling Cristiano Ronaldo this summer only if their own conditions for the deal are met.

Reported from ESPN, the Red Devils would only sell him to a club that could take on the last 12 months of his United contract.

That means they expect to get a lucrative compensation from his sale and would want at least around the £25m they spent on his salary last season.

Cristiano is eager to solve his future soon and finalize his United exit, as he craves to play in the Champions League next season.

Ronaldo, 37, has a contract with the Red Devils until June 2023, with an option to extend it for a further year, but has now asked to be transferred.

Sources have told ESPN that United have informed Ronaldo that he is not available for transfer this summer and that they expect him to stay for the remaining year of his contract.

Man United finished the Premier League last season in 6th place with 58 points. In total, Ronaldo appeared in 38 matches for the Red Devils and scored 24 goals.
