Azerbaijani boxer wins gold medal at Gliwice championships

Azerbaijani boxer Anna Alimardanova has claimed gold medal in the women`s championships in Gliwice, Poland.

Alimardanova secured the medal after beating Czech Lenka Kardova 3-0 and was also awarded the best technical boxer of the tournament, AzerTag reports.Apart from Azerbaijan, the tournament brought together 90 boxers from the Czech Republic, Germany, Finland, France, Ukraine and Hungary.Another Azerbaijani boxer Yana Alekseyeva guaranteed tournament’s bronze medal.Bakudaily.Az
