Turkish speaker visits Azeri soldiers in hospital

Cemil Cicek, speaker of Turkish parliament, has visited Azerbaijani soldiers receiving medical treatment in an Ankara hospital. 

Speaking to reporters after the visit, Cicek said: “One million Azerbaijanis have been displaced as a result of Armenian policies. They (refugees) are faced with serious difficulties. The international community does not care about this situation. Yet, they keep speaking about democracy. They have established the so-called Minsk Group. It exists on paper only. People are suffering as a result.”

Three Azerbaijani soldiers injured in fighting with Armenian troops earlier this month were flown to Turkey for treatment on August 9.
