"At 13:15 local time, the Yakutia Rescue Service duty officer received a call - an An-24 aircraft operating on the Olekminsk-Yakutsk route cannot land at Yakutsk airport. The Polar Airlines aircraft was scheduled to land at 13:15. The reason is landing gear malfunction," the message states.

Later, the regional rescue service announced that the aircraft landed safely at the airport.
