Ukrainian drones attack Lukoil refinery in Russia’s Kstovo
Ukrainian drones attacked Lukoil’s Nizhny Novgorodnefteorgsintez refinery in Kstovo, Ukrainian media reported.
The refinery is Russia’s fourth-largest by capacity and one of the country’s major fuel suppliers. Its designed primary oil processing capacity is around 17 million tonnes per year, accounting for about 5–6% of Russia’s total primary refining capacity.
The plant had already been attacked on June 24, after which it halted operations. It was also targeted several times in May.
