Aliyev and the first lady open new park in Baku

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of a new park in Baku’s Narimanov district.

Baku executive authority head Eldar Azizov briefed the president and the first lady on the project.

The 3.5-hectare recreation area is located at the intersection of Ahmad Bey Aghaoghlu, Tabriz and Talyat Shikhaliev streets, near the Italy-Azerbaijan University.

The park includes pavilions, an amphitheater, a tennis court, children’s play areas and modern lighting. It is designed for both leisure and sports activities.
