Iran comments on US claims that Iranian drones could reach California

Recent claims that Iran threatened the United States with producing 10–11 atomic bombs during negotiations are false, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said at a briefing.

He described the allegation as “ridiculous” and added that enriching uranium to 60% does not mean that a nuclear weapon will be produced.

Baghaei also responded to claims that Iranian drones could reach the U.S. west coast.

“Do Americans not know the flight range of Iranian drones? Do they not know that Iranian drones cannot reach California, which is 6,500 miles from the Gulf? U.S. officials are deliberately making such claims. Such statements may be preparation for a ‘false flag’ operation in the United States,” Baghaei said.
