Britain’s King Charles III arrives in U.S. for state visit
Britain’s King Charles III and Queen Camilla have arrived in the United States for a four-day state visit marking the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence.
The royal couple were welcomed at Joint Base Andrews before a reception at the White House hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump.
During the visit, Charles and Camilla are expected to travel to Washington, New York and Virginia. The king is also expected to address the U.S. Congress.
