U.S. President Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen to 34%, the lowest level of his current term, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.

The previous poll, conducted on April 15-20, showed approval at 36%. At the start of his current term in January 2025, 47% of Americans approved of his performance.

Only 22% of respondents approved of Trump’s handling of the cost of living, down from 25% in the previous poll.

Reuters linked the decline to public dissatisfaction with the economy and the war with Iran, which has pushed up gasoline prices.
