Ronaldo scores 970th career goal

Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 970th career goal as Al-Nassr beat Al-Ahli 2-0 in the Saudi Pro League.

The match was played at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh.

Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 76th minute from a pass by Joao Felix. Kingsley Coman added a second goal in the 90th minute, assisted by Ayman Yahya.

Al-Nassr remain top of the Saudi Pro League standings with 78 points from 30 matches. Al-Hilal are second with 70 points, while Al-Ahli sit third on 66.
