Russian ambassador summoned to Moldovan Foreign Ministry over UAV incident

Russia’s ambassador to Chisinau has been summoned to the Moldovan Foreign Ministry.

The reason was an incident involving a UAV that entered Moldovan airspace from Ukraine on May 13.

The Moldovan Foreign Ministry stated that the unmanned aerial vehicle belonged to Russia.

A note of protest was presented to the Russian ambassador.
