One killed as floods cause house collapse in Türkiye’s Hatay province
A house collapsed as a result of flooding in Türkiye’s Hatay province, citing local media.
One person was killed and three others were rescued injured as a result of the incident.
A large number of vehicles were damaged due to the flooding, and an interdistrict bridge collapsed. Efforts are continuing to rescue citizens stranded helpless in their homes.
Note that heavy rainfall is expected in some areas of Türkiye, particularly in the Marmara, Eastern Black Sea, Central Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia regions. Meteorological warnings have been issued for four provinces. Citizens have been advised to be cautious against the dangers of sudden flooding, inundation and lightning.
