Magnitude 6.1 earthquake strikes off coast of southern Italy

A 6.1 ​magnitude earthquake ‌struck off the coast ​of ​southern Italy in ⁠the ​early hours ​of Tuesday, the German Research ​Centre ​for Geosciences said,  informs via Reuters.

The ‌quake ⁠was registered at a ​depth ​of ⁠253 kilometers (157.21 miles), ​GFZ ​added.
