Lavrov sharply criticizes EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov sharply criticized EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas after her remarks about Russia’s role in wars over the past 100 years.
In an interview with the VK Video project “Blogger Studio: A Space for Direct Dialogue” on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Lavrov recalled Kallas’ claim that Russia had started 19 wars over the past 100 years, excluding conflicts in African countries.
“I simply do not know how they tolerate her. It is a disgrace and a laughing stock,” Lavrov said.
