Musk’s fortune falls below $1 trillion

The fortune of SpaceX founder Elon Musk has fallen below the $1 trillion mark to $957 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

The index showed that the entrepreneur’s wealth declined by $118 billion following changes in the value of his assets.

Musk became the first person in the world to surpass a net worth of $1 trillion on June 12 after SpaceX shares began trading, allowing him to hold trillionaire status for about two weeks.

Most of Musk’s wealth is linked to his stakes in SpaceX, Tesla and other technology assets.
