Farewell ceremony for Khamenei begins in Tehran

A farewell ceremony for Iran’s former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has begun in Tehran, APA reported. 

Large mourning ceremonies will be held in several Iranian cities and will continue until July 9.

Khamenei will be buried in Mashhad on July 9.

Representatives from around 100 countries are expected to attend the memorial events. An official delegation from Azerbaijan will also take part in the ceremony.
