Belgium thrash U.S. to reach World Cup quarter-finals

Belgium beat the United States 4-1 in the last 16 of the 2026 World Cup to reach the quarter-finals. 

Charles De Ketelaere scored twice for Belgium, netting in the 9th and 33rd minutes. Hans Vanaken and Romelu Lukaku also scored, while Malik Tillman got the only goal for the United States in the 31st minute.

Belgium will face Spain in the quarter-finals.
