The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has put into circulation a redesigned 100-manat banknote featuring updated security elements.

The new banknote includes a colour-shifting holographic feature, a watermark, tactile markings for the visually impaired and other anti-counterfeiting elements. It also bears the signature of Central Bank Governor Taleh Kazimov.

The redesigned 100-manat notes will circulate alongside the existing banknotes of the same denomination.
