Azerbaijani TikToker Ilduza Hajiyeva placed under house arrest

The Baku Court of Appeal granted an appeal filed by TikToker Ilduza Hajiyeva, known online as “Arzum 9999”, and replaced her detention with house arrest.

The court also prohibited Hajiyeva from using social media.

According to the criminal case materials, the road accident occurred in June 2025 in the Mardakan settlement of Baku’s Khazar district. One person was killed and another suffered serious injuries.

Prosecutors said Hajiyeva left the scene after the crash.

She was found guilty under provisions of Azerbaijan’s Criminal Code covering a traffic violation resulting in death through negligence and leaving the scene of a road accident.
