IRGC says it struck U.S. bases in Qatar and Kuwait

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had launched missile strikes against U.S. military bases in Qatar and Kuwait, in what it described as retaliation for overnight U.S. attacks on targets inside Iran.

The IRGC said the operation targeted the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar and the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. The claims could not be independently verified.

There was no immediate comment from U.S. authorities on the Iranian statement.
