President Ilham Aliyev approves law banning civil circulation of e-cigarettes

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has approved amendments to the Law "On the List of Items Excluded from Civil Circulation," officially adding electronic cigarettes and their components to the restricted list.

The corresponding legislative amendments were implemented to align current statutes with the law adopted on December 30, 2025.

It should be recalled that under previously passed legislation, the import, export, production, storage, wholesale and retail sale, as well as the use of electronic cigarettes and their components, are strictly prohibited in Azerbaijan.
