Pezeshkian says attacks on security forces aimed to provoke ethnic divide in Iran
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that attacks targeting law enforcement officers were calculated to incite street riots and trigger ethnic tension across the country.
According to the Iranian president, perpetrators expected that targeting security personnel would provoke public unrest and foster ethnic division, ultimately intended to cause a rift within the nation. Pezeshkian emphasized that law enforcement officers are not combat troops engaged in military operations.
The head of state concluded that attempts to destabilize the internal situation and undermine national unity failed.
