Karabakh will be my first official regional visit, formal request submitted -UK Ambassador

British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Duncan Norman has announced that Karabakh will be the first regional destination of his official tenure in the country, confirming that formal travel requests have already been lodged.

"Karabakh will definitely be the first place I officially visit. We have already submitted an application to travel. In fact, we sent that request the day after I presented my credentials," the ambassador said.

Norman expressed a primary interest in visiting the city of Shusha, alongside broader plans to tour the wider Karabakh region over the coming years: "I really want to go to Shusha, but over the next few years, I want to see the whole of Karabakh. I think it is really important to do that."
