Baku to Reach 31°C on August 29, Showers and Hail Forecast for Mountainous Areas
On Saturday, August 29, weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is expected to be partly cloudy and predominantly rainless, accompanied by occasionally gusty northwesterly winds, according to the National Hydrometeorology Service.
Overnight temperatures will range between 21–25°C, while daytime highs will reach 28–31°C. Atmospheric pressure will stand at 758 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels at 60–70% during the night and 50–55% during the day.
Most regions of Azerbaijan will experience dry conditions, though intermittent rain is forecast for several mountainous and foothill areas. Brief heavy downpours, thunderstorms, and hail may occur during the nighttime and evening hours. Fog is expected in certain upland regions overnight and in the morning. Gusty westerly winds will blow intermittently.
Regional temperatures will fluctuate between 20–25°C at night and 32–36°C during the day, with mountainous areas seeing lows of 13–18°C and highs of 20–25°C
