Putin and Pashinyan to Hold Bilateral Talks in Bishkek

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan are scheduled to hold talks today in Bishkek on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit.

Commenting on the upcoming meeting, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk stated that Moscow maintains an optimistic outlook and wishes the Armenian leader success.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov previously noted that the discussions will address bilateral relations and friction points between Moscow and Yerevan. Key agenda items are expected to include Armenia's foreign policy trajectory, its growing engagement with the European Union, and domestic political developments.
