Azeri referee appointed to World Cup qualifying match

The Azerbaijani referee inspector Asim Khudiyev, 57, was appointed an inspector of the World Cup qualifying match, Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan said Monday.

Khudiyev was assigned to referee a match between the female teams of Turkey and Wales.

The match will be held on April 4 at Ataturk stadium in the city of Eskishekhir, Turkey.
