Asim Mollazade off to Berlin to join regional forum

Asim Mollazade, chairman of the Democratic Reforms Party of Azerbaijan, has left for Berlin to attend the Second Forum on the South Caucasus at the invitation of the George C. Marshall Foundation and Robert Bosch Foundation.

The forum, sponsored by Sweden’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will look into the region’s most important strategic issues, including its economic potential, social and cultural heritage. 

It will be attended by leading strategists and politicians from the United States, the European Union, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia and countries of the EU’s Eastern Partnership program.

The participants will have an exchange of views on the strategic potential of the South Caucasus and discuss regional problems in the areas of politics, security, regional trade and infrastructure, potential areas of development and current reforms.
