Barkley free-kick stunner sends Everton fourth

Ross Barkley's fantastic late free-kick sealed a 2-1 win for Roberto Martinez's Everton away to his old side Swansea.Barkley went up over the Swansea wall with a stunning 25-yard set piece which dipped just underneath Gerhard Tremmel's crossbar six minutes from time to seal all three points for the Toffees.Seamus Coleman had put the away side ahead on 66 minutes after a tepid first half-from both teams. His vicious drive came at the end of one of several excellent runs the right-back made down the flank throughout the contest. An own-goal from Bryan Oviedo levelled the contest just four minutes later, however, as Dwight Tiendalli's clumsy contact on a cross from the left was inadvertently put into the net by the Costa Rican.Martinez would have the last laugh against his old employers, for the first time in five attempts, and the Merseysiders will spend at least 24 hours in a Champions League position.(uk.eurosport.yahoo.com)ANN.Az
