Azerbaijan to sign documents in Eastern Partnership summit

Deputy AzeriForeign Minister Mahmud Mammadquliyev has denied media reports that Baku willrefrain from signing any documents in the Eastern Partnership summit due inVilnius on Nov. 29-30.

“We will definitelysign an agreement on easing the visa regime,” Mammadquliyev said, according to Baku-basedTrend news agency.

Azerbaijanis preparing to sign a number of cooperation agreements, including on mobility partnership,and a protocol on the country’s participation in a number of programs of theEuropean Union, he said.

Work isunder way to agree the final declaration of the Vilnius summit, he said.
