SOCAR pumps more oil, natural gas in first 11 months

Azerbaijan’s state energy company SOCAR produced more crude oil and natural gas in the first 11 months of 2014 year on year, the company said.
SOCAR pumped 7.7 million tons of oil in January through November, up from 7.6 million tons in the same period last year.
Natural gas output increased to 6.65 billion cubic meters from 6.59 billion cubic meters.
Azerbaijan’s total oil production during the period fell to 38.4 million tons from 39.5 million tons a year earlier.
Production of marketable natural gas rose to 17 billion cubic meters from 16.2 billion cubic meters.
