Baku Flame Towers damaged by strong winds
Strong winds in the Azerbaijani capital Baku late yesterday damaged several windows of the city’s iconic Flame Towers, Anspress reported.
Some of the glass was broken and scattered around, causing havoc on the traffic, the report said.
No one was injured in the incident.
Police closed the Parliament Avenue to clean tarmac off debris of the glass.
The avenue was reopened for traffic after the cleaning work was completed early in the morning.
